New Climber Induction Session

A 30-minute, instructor-led session will cover everything you need to know to make the most of your visit to Depot Climbing and meet fellow climbers.

Starting with safety, we’ll cover best practices, do’s, and don’ts to keep you climbing safely throughout your climbing journey and show you around the centre facilities, from our climbing walls to training areas.

We’ll explain how the grading system works, what training equipment is there for, and how to safely use the gym equipment.

Then we’ll cover a few basic techniques and skills that will help you start your climbing experience on the strongest footing, from how to make sure you’re fully warmed up, to placing your feet and hands efficiently.
