NICAS Clip
Auto belays are the simplest way to get into roped climbing, and NICAS Clip is here to provide a pathway for safety, fun and early introductions to movement on the wall.
New climbers can expect to learn to confidently climb using auto belay devices under the careful tuition of our expert, DBS checked and NSPCC child protection trained climbing instructors.
Assessment is ongoing throughout, with participants awarded a certificate when they successfully pass the course.
NICAS Clip is the National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme for auto-belay climbing.
It is a nationally recognised coaching scheme designed to introduce new climbers to the indoor climbing environment through the safe use of auto-belay facilities. Sessions are suitable for those aged 6+.
Participants will develop their awareness of climbing movements and improve their confidence to explore other climbing pathways. NICAS Clip has a focus on fun and teaches skills through the gamification of sport.
We have a team of qualified, dedicated coaches and instructors who are experts in climbing; with years of experience running classes, you can be sure your child will not only become a competent climber but will also love the journey too.
